Every category — including shared friends folders — now stacks your newest photos at the top and groups them under tidy date headers like Today, Yesterday, or the exact date, just like your phone's gallery.
Four-Tab Navigation
The bar at the bottom always shows three tabs. Categories is your organized grid of folders, All Photos is the full date-grouped gallery, and Friends jumps straight into your social hub. The tab you're on lights up teal.
Six Membership Tiers & Host Tools
Hosts choose from six tiers — Free, Starter, Basic, Standard, Premium and Elite — each unlocking more friends per folder, more AI sort credits, and an ad-free experience. As host you're in control: the members panel includes a Kick tool to remove anyone from a shared folder at any time.
Tucked-Away Members Panel
Inside a shared folder, the photos own the screen. Member details live behind the small avatar badge in the top-right — tap it to slide the full panel open (members, invites, settings) and tap again to collapse it back out of the way.
Contributor Leaderboard
Every shared photo records who uploaded it. We tally those automatically, so next to each member you'll see a live count of how many photos they've added to that specific folder — e.g. “@alex • 4 photos”.
Secure Invite Links
Hosts can copy a one-tap invite link from the members panel. Each link carries a randomized, cryptographically-strong token that the server strictly verifies — so folders can never be opened by guessing a URL, and a host can rotate the token to revoke old links instantly.

1. Information We Collect

GroupDrop collects your account registration details (email address and secure local authentication strings), usage analytics, and the photo assets you explicitly choose to upload to the platform for processing.

2. How We Use Your Data

We utilize your collected data exclusively to run the application core features, keep your data isolated, and trigger real-time AI analysis to automatically sort your imagery into custom categories.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Your data is never sold to third parties. This is a free, private app — there is no payment processing of any kind. Image content is analyzed on Cloudflare Workers AI (running on Cloudflare’s edge) solely for real-time automated visual sorting.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Regardless of your location, we honor your rights to access, update, export, or completely delete your personal account profile, metadata, and all uploaded image histories. You can trigger a total account data erasure directly from your user settings panel.

5. Data Retention & Security

Your photos are securely isolated within Cloudflare cloud storage. We enforce strict, native backend access control barriers preventing any unauthenticated user ID from viewing your folders. Image data is only retained for as long as your account remains open and active.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GroupDrop ("the Service"), you explicitly agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the application.

2. Your Account

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your local authentication credentials and account activities. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to upload, store, or share any content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harmful, or infringes upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others. Automated scraping, botting, or flooding the server with rapid requests is strictly prohibited.

4. Content & Ownership

You retain 100% ownership, rights, and copyright over all photos you upload to GroupDrop. By uploading, you grant the Service a temporary, limited license solely to host, process, and display your assets as necessary to perform automated AI categorization and folder organization for your account.

5. A Free, Private Service

The Service is provided 100% free of charge for a private group. There are no subscriptions, no payments, and no purchases of any kind. Daily AI sorting is subject to a fair-use limit that resets every day.

6. Termination & Liability

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account instantly, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or harms the operational security of the application. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties, and we limit our liability to the maximum extent permitted by law regarding data disruptions or global daily safety caps.

Why is there a limit?
A quick note on how we keep GroupDrop fast & free for everyone.

To keep GroupDrop free and fast, our AI photo sorting is capped at 50 photos per minute.

This protects the shared AI service from overload, so sorting stays speedy for you and everyone else using the app.

Got a bigger batch? No problem — just upload your photos in smaller groups of up to 50 at a time, or wait about a minute and continue. Nothing is lost.

You can also use Manual Sort anytime — placing photos into a category yourself is always free and never counts toward this AI limit.
